Embark on an Interstellar Voyage: Join the 4th Quadrant Expedition Leg#3 Inner Spiral and Beyond!
Greetings, Commanders!
CMDR Luciano Kalabric, also known as Darth Kalabric, here. I'm thrilled to announce the third iteration of the thrilling 4th Quadrant Expedition! We've incorporated valuable insights from the previous voyage to enrich this experience. Calling all intrepid CMDRs eager to share their expertise and push the boundaries of discovery! This expedition is your chance to forge new friendships and explore uncharted territories together. Feel free to bring along a fleet of vessels to diversify your gameplay.
Communication and Coordination
To foster a seamless experience for our international crew, we'll use Coordinated Universal Time (UTC+0) (https://time.is/UTC) as our official timekeeper. Apply the corresponding UTC offset to convert UTC to your local time. For instance, 22:00 UTC+0 translates to 19:00 UTC-3 São Paulo time. English will serve as our primary language of communication. Of course, feel free to converse in your native language if you encounter fellow CMDRs who share your tongue (Just a heads-up: Klingon is beyond my comprehension, so I won't be able to assist you if that's your sole language of choice).
Registration and Additional Information
At first glance, this expedition may seem too long (7 days stopover). However, we can make it much shorter by reducing our downtime (3 days would be the minimum). This may occur if the Colonization update is released, for example. Plus, you'll be free to fly at your own pace. At the briefing, I will give you some tips for your final decision. Join the Discord Server: Pre-Expedition Meeting and Ongoing Coordination
To ensure a smooth launch, we'll host pre-expedition briefings on January 12th, 15th, and 23th at 22:00 UTC+0 (19:00 UTC-3 São Paulo time) on the Two-Headed Snake Squadron [2HDS] Discord Server (https://discord.gg/D7Vj5EVK?event=1328170939065565286). This is an excellent platform to iron out any last-minute details before departure. Throughout the expedition, I'll strive to be available daily at 22:00 UTC on the 2HDS server. This will provide you with regular opportunities to connect with me and your fellow explorers. Alternatively, you can arrange meetups with other CMDRs at mutually convenient times.
Launch Details and Preparations
Brace yourselves for liftoff on January 25th at precisely 22:00 UTC+0 (19:00 UTC-3 São Paulo time) aboard the fleet carrier Snakes' Den 1 [V8G-9XT], stationed within the 54 Ceti system. While an exploration vessel equipped with an SVR and the Artemis suit fulfills the minimum requirements, bringing additional ships is highly encouraged. They provide valuable storage space for modules, allowing you to experiment with various equipment configurations (we'll delve deeper into this during the pre-expedition meetings). As a general guideline, please be on board the fleet carrier 15 minutes before departure. Unfortunately, due to Tritium limitations, we won't be able to wait for or return to pick up any stragglers who miss the jump. A Game-in-Game (GiG) Experience
The expedition promises an exciting GiG event brimming with exploration, navigation challenges, exhilarating races, and collaborative mining endeavors. Prepare to venture into the unexplored depths of space and conquer uncharted territories!
Important Late Announcement
Attention, CMDRs! We require two volunteers for crucial support tasks:
- Delayed CMDRs may embark up to two days after our initial departure on the fleet carrier Maxgati Bergamill [T4J-W2K] stationed within the Balante system and catch a ride to the second WP in the GSC 9409-1163 system.
- CMDRs willing to contribute Tritium reserves at a designated system (Sagittarius A) during our return voyage, if necessary. We eagerly await your participation in this extraordinary expedition! Together, let's venture into the uncharted quadrants and unravel the mysteries that lie within!
