The Hesperus
If nothing else, these megaships know how to make you feel small.
Two ships, each the size of a city. Both dead. The Dredger doesn't know it yet, its hydrogen scoop still drinking the solar winds. The lights remain on, the helm standing ready for an order that will never come.
They were building something - a 'Knowledge core'. Does it lie here, forgotten? If not, why did their family not come to reclaim the dredger?
