I spotted a beautiful nebula in the Agnairy sector, so I deviated my course a bit to check it out. Wow, the exobiology in the area is off the chart. I didn't make much progress to the nebula today because of all the stops to find and catalogue the exo along the way. There is so much of it, I am wondering if I will even get there tomorrow. I am making economical jumps of 1.5 to 3.5LY jumps all the way and every jump yields massive exobiology opportunities and I'm not passing those up. Also, I discovered two black holes and no less than 5 neutron stars today. One of the black holes was the host of three of those neutron stars. That system was Agnairy AA-A G532, just in case any CMDRs wish to visit that eerie star system. Personally, it gave me the creeps, I don't like black holes..

Everything else checks out OK with the Lonestar except for the 9% hull damage I took a few days ago slamming into the ground after not paying attention.. I'm living with that. Everything else is A-OK. Just a few more days to Explorer's Anchorage.

Tonight, I'm resting easy on the third moon of a ringed gas giant. Too bad I can't see it in the sky right now. I just finished finding six of seven of the biologicals on this moon. Of course, the last to find is osseus.. I'm going to skip it this time as I spent nearly an hour looking for it and never saw one. As I said before, osseus is my least favorite exo to find.

So, time for a little dinner and a beer, maybe a video and then off to sleep. Tomorrow is around the corner.

I made 21 jumps today on my way to Explorer's Anchorage. I'd say that's progress. I picked up some interesting exobiology over several different planets and moons including the moon I am camped out on tonight. I had fun in the scarab hunting down the frutexa growing in the mountains near where I am currently at now. Running down the exo out on the plains is not really a challenge like mountain crawling is.

I must say my least favorite exo to chase down has to be osseus. I don't know why but it's just a pain in the ass to locate for me.. I don't seem to have trouble finding any other exobiological except for osseus. No point going on about it, it is what it is.

I discovered three neutron stars within my 21 jumps today and I also found a Wolf-Rayet star however, that star had already been discovered by someone else.. Funny how that works. There were no other bodies in the Wolf-Rayet system until I got there, then it was the Lonestar and the lone star. When I left the system, it was just the lone star again..

All in all, I'd say it was a very good day. I hope tomorrow is as productive as today was, even more. Time for some food and relaxation.

As I make my way toward Sag. A and Explorer's Anchorage I wonder how many other explorers are out here with me, around me, near me.. Doing the same thing as I am, exploring the unknown and discovering rather than tying their lives up in personal turmoil and having to get one over on the next guy.

Today I made much better progress than I did yesterday in that I made sixteen jumps. While that's not too many more than six, I did stop for quite a few exobiologicals. twenty-eight in total over five planets for the day. I like to keep them busy at Vista Genomics and, since they are all 'first footfalls', there is that 5x multiplier working for me. As a matter of fact, all of my Vista Genomics submissions will be first footfall submissions and thus all come with the 5x multiplier. I also found an earthlike planet today! I was happy about that.

Once again, I banged into a planet hard.. Not paying attention to what I am doing is what I'll chalk that one up to. The planet wasn't even a high gravity planet either. It took all of my shield and 10% of my hull. I am not going to repair my hull with limpets yet as I am about halfway to Sag. A. There may be a carrier nearby that I can dock with and make repairs, if so, I will do that. If not, I will use a limpet if I lose more hull. That is why I'd like a fleet carrier.. I am reasonably sure I will be leasing a fleet carrier on my next trip back to Tir, (Colonia).

Tonight, I am camped on a little moon orbiting a ringed purple gas giant. It has gas vents shooting off all around for entertainment. Dinner was raviolis with plenty of grated parmesan and a Vernors ginger soda imported from Earth (I have a 6 pack).

Tomorrow will be more of the same routine as today and hopefully, just as productive. Until then I'll listen to the sound of the gas vents outside as I drift off to sleep

Did you ever have one of those days where you just didn't want to put any effort into something? Well, today was that day. I just didn't feel like putting any distance between myself and Tir. I made a total of six jumps and stopped on a planet with six exobiologicals on it. After finding them all including Frutexa way up in the mountains, I settled in on an overlooking peak with a nice view. I will have a nice dinner with a beer and a video before I'll be passing out for the night. Tomorrow I'll make up for lost time.

Nothing else new to add to this log entry other than the Mandalay is operating at peak performance. She does what I ask each and every time. What more could I want?

I only made nine jumps today. I got a late start as I slept in. That's not like me but I'm not complaining. I ended up on a little frozen moon with four life forms.. After tracking them all down within an hour or so I just surveyed the moon for a while in the Mandalay, chose a nice spot to camp and set down for the night.

Nothing remarkable about this world and I'll be moving on in the morning.

I am slowly progressing toward Sag. A. In the 20 or 30 odd jumps I made today, I only ran into four or five worlds with exobiological life on them, but the troubling thing is there was only ONE life sign on every one. That is all except the last one. The last one had no less than eight. I was happy to see that and quickly set course for that little moon of a ringed gas giant. After an hour and a half of tracking down all the life forms I camped out for the night. I'm exhausted.

I think I got in a little over 2000LY today on the way to the core. I have included every star class in my route plotter but so far it has only plotted me to fuel scoopable stars. I'll keep my eye on that. I'd like to see what kind of worlds are around non-sequence stars. I've never really thought about it before and what, if any, life evolves within these systems.. Perhaps I'll set the route planner to economical and see what happens if I turn off O,B,A,F,G,K,M Star types. I did find several water worlds today and a ringed ammonia world and an earth like, so that was exciting to see. I hope to find more.

Alright then, I think a B.L.T. for dinner with a glass of milk sounds good. Some videos and then sack out. Save some bacon for breakfast with eggs in the morning and then hit it once again.

After a much needed rest I am once again on the move. My direction is toward the center of the galaxy once again. This route always brings in big profits and never gets old with me. I didn't push it today, but I did encounter a few interesting systems including one with a water world, an ammonia world and a moon with 9 bio signs. That one took a couple hours to run down all the life forms. That's where I am camped for the night as well.

Tomorrow I will pick up where I left off on my trip back to Sag. A. Since I didn't lease a carrier when I was back in the Colonia area, I have time to think about it some more and earn some more credits. A bit of reading indicates that one should commit to about 7.5 to 7.8 billion to the leasing of a carrier. That's no problem for me but it's still a good chunk of change. There is a good learning curve to running a carrier too. More research to be done..

For now, a light dinner and a beer, a video and sack out. Tomorrow morning, sleep in, a hearty breakfast burrito and coffee and then hit the blackness.

When I arrived in the Tir system, I immediately punched Bolden's Enterprise into the nav computer and let it fly. When I reached Bolden's Enterprise, I requested docking, checked into a hotel and slammed onto the queen sized bed hard. That was it. Nothing else.

I made it to Dryooe Prou FF-Z d696 or what's also known as Abeona's Blessing. I spent a good while admiring the ringed green gas giant rise above the horizon of the moon I landed on. It took about an hour in total. It was quite beautiful and serine. The system is only 1000LY from Tir or just 13 jumps for my Mandalay, the Lonestar. On the way back I'll set it for economical jumps about two thirds of the way in and see what kind of exobiology I can discover but it's been pretty heavily trafficked near the Tir region so I'm not expecting a lot of 'first footfalls'.

Speaking of first footfalls, the area around Abeona's Blessing has had quite a bit of traffic as well I have noticed. A lot of exploration in the area has taken place around the region. No first footfalls for me in quite a while but, not a problem.

I didn't stay at Abeona's Blessing for too long before I headed back to Tir. I didn't make it all the way however. With the economical setting I still have about 50 jumps to go so I am camped out on an Ice world with one life form, as usual. Tomorrow I'll hit it and see how far I get. Till then..

While I'm staying in Tir for a few days, I thought I'd check out something I'd never seen before. I'm on a little trip to Dryooe Prou FF-Z d696 to check out Abeona's Blessing. For those unfamiliar with this, it's a ringed green gas giant. The system also contains an Earth-like world, a Water world, and an Ammonia world. It is only 1000LY from Tir so I figured, what the hell. It should be a nice little diversion. If there is a landable moon or planet in the system I may spend the night there or, I'll make my way back to Tir on economical jumps doing exobiology scans and trying to make some cash. So that's what I am doing right now but I stopped short of making it due to all the exobiology stops on the way including one planet with no less than 9 bio signals.. I had to find and scan them all. And that is where I am camping for the night just two hops from my target destination.

The Lonestar is performing top notch again after seeing the mechanic at Tir. All systems are nominal. Both SRVs are serviced and lubed. I even got the paint redone on the ol' girl but I think she needs a new color. I'm kickin' that idea around. I certainly have the Arx.
