This system is located 3299 light years below the plane, and for some time held the record as the lowest system ever reached. 'Descent' is the counterpart to 'Ascent' discovered only a few days earlier. Visiting Descent will require neutron boosting and FSD injection, including the challenging "double boost" method. A maximum jump range (with boost) of 237.85 light years is required.
