It is difficult to see until pilots are under 100 ly away; best views for those unwilling to jump into the neutron star system itself can be found from a K class star system a mere 1.7 ly away. This nebula, for its pleasing geometry and unusual hue as well as its proximity to Colonia, would make it worth a visit for any sightseer in the area. (Source.)
