Feeling happier with my fleet carrier.

I'm in Blu Thua - about half-way to my first waypoint in Traikee. The aim is to get to the Gallipolis and explore along the Arcadian Stream.

My fleet carrier is loaded up with Tritium (17k tons in cargo) purchased in the bubble, but I m trying to be self-sufficient. So far, it's working - despite being an inept and inexperienced miner. When I find a Tritium hotspot it's an evening's mining to gather 200+ tons - enough for a 500ly jump. I had not expected to find low temperature diamonds and void opals without looking for them, but I have accumulated about 50T. I do not expect to be near civilisation again for several months so I'll just keep storing them - hopefully, I'll get a good payout when I return to the bubble.

My time is split about 1:2 mining:exploration while heading to The Gallipolis. Once I'm there I'll jump less often and think 1:4 will be about for me to retain interest and not get into a 'grind'.

I have opened my commodities market - offering Tritium, Void Opals and LTDs. I don't expect to sell anything, but perhaps a source of Tritium out in the black might help someone.

In summary, I am happy with my fleet carrier. Mining is a grind - but does not take too much time. Progress to The Gallipolis is slow, but I expected that.
