Return to civilisation

I entered a populated system (Khun) for the first time since I left Mehimurt in July. After light repairs to hull integrity and paintwork, I sold off all of my data. I now have far more credits than I have ever had, have received multiple accolades, and am apparently allied with Canonn.

HIP 99152

A system with a few interesting occurrences. A five-star system featuring a class A star and two class Y stars with ring systems, as well a moon with a water atmosphere. Also saw a rather picturesque scene when HIP 99152 2 b a crossed in front of HIP 99152 2 b:

HIP 98483

Yet another remarkable system—an abundance of water, albeit with a lack of habitable or terraformable planets. The system is dominated by gas giants with small, rocky moons. Two of the gas giants have water-based life and three of the moons have atmospheres of 100% water (two with heavy atmospheres, one with a thin atmosphere, and all of them very hot). The outermost world also has an atmosphere of nearly 100% water and a surface pressure of well over 31,000 atm (understandable given that it is over twenty times the mass of Earth).

Despite my sarcasm, I was excited by the discoveries in my recent entries, and now I find this remarkable system not all that far from the bubble—a gas giant with water-based life, a moon of a moon, two sets of binary gas giants with rings, two sets of binary moons, and nearly two dozen first-ever discoveries. I wonder how long before I find somewhere even more remarkable.

In the third first in a short time, I have made my first first discovery. Specifically, five icy bodies (B 3, B 4, B 4 a, B 5, and B 6) in the outer reaches of this system that presumably no one cares about.

The first system I have added to EDSM. It has already been discovered and consists of only three stars. Boring.

Wredguia BL-M c21-3

I am the first one credited with visiting and scanning this system for EDSM—a first for me. It was already recorded here, but with no celestial bodies and—most importantly—no traffic report. It has been my pleasure to rectify that.
