I barely start my journey to the Voyager's Reach, and right in the first system I travel to, LHS 1734, I run into the White Dwarf. And in the next system, V1201 Orionis, another. I guess I should be glad it did not happen deep in the space long way from help, and they are a sight to behold, but still, I can not help but wonder if it is not some kind of bad omen.

After years of trading, data running and occasional smuggling, I finally got what I wanted - an actual exploration ship worthy of that name, Krait MkII named Natural Disorder. I even managed - after some creative "archeology" at Guardian Ruins - to aquire their FSD Booster for it. Now is time to properly test it.

I was always great fan of stories about journey of USS Voyager and its crew, captained by Kathryn Janeway. Parts of ships route is unreachable to us, but when I found out Voyager's Trail exist within known systems, it was clear winner for a first true deep space journey. I have to first reach the starting point though, Voyager's Reach. The journey there and back will be about 122 000 light years. And I think I know a great starting point.
