I've gotta get out of here. All this bedrest has been driving me insane. Seven months of sitting in the hospital on Braun Enterprise after that damned Cyclopes got a lucky shot on the Scrungler. Seven damn months.

Can't go back to fighting though. I don't think I could do that again, not now. 'Sides, there are braver commanders than I taking the fight to the 'Goids, and we're winning. I can take a step back.

Maybe I ought to dust off those plans I had to make a run for Colonia. Damn war stopped me last time, but the Call of the Void's still gathering dust in her hangar. Good money in exploring, and it gets me out of the bubble. Away from people. Away from the war.

I'm doing it. The Void's getting a preflight then I'm headed to Sheron. I can't wait to get out into the black again.
