Waypoint #10 (Phua Fraae AA-A h0 (Salome's Diadem)

The galactic map reads this system as a B0 IVA class star...a subgiant. However, it is in actuality a class B Hypergiant of greater than 100 solar masses and nearly 250 solar radii. It has an Herbig AE/BE in close proximity that is completely drowned out by the luminosity of the parent star. The system primary even dwarfs it's O class companion.

I am currently trying to manual map a way into the Aquila's Halo Region. This is proving to be more difficult than I thought it would be....

Waypoint #9 (Westpoint Ormand)

Cyuefai BC-D d12-4 (Westpoint Ormand)

Sitting on the far edge of the New Outer Arm, in the middle of the Errant Marshes, this system is located almost exactly on the western meridian from Sol.

Total distance traveled thus far is roughly 36,451.48 LYs.

The Journey continues to Waypoint #10, an ungodly 26,400 Lys away...

Waypoint #8

Phae Aeb BK-I d9-22 (The Alluring Siren)

A double water world system situated between the near edge of the New Outer Arm and the far side of the Formidine Rift. One of the planets within this system is a pure ringed water world with no landmass and no atmosphere. A jewel of light in a desolate region.

My next Waypoint is 16,000+ LYs away...

Waypoint #7 (The Brothers)

A Y-class brown dwarf orbited by a Class III gas giant. The gas giant orbits at just over 1 lightsecond away from the star. The Brothers is a beautiful sight to behold. on to WP #8...

Waypoint #6 Vigs' Beacon

After 2 weeks and roughly 16,469 LYs I have made it to Vigs' Beacon on the edge of the galaxy, in the Formidine Rift. This is, currently at 14,020 LYs, the furthest away from Sol that I have ever been. But the journey is not over yet...

Waypoint #5

I have made it to my fifth waypoint, Dryao Ain MO-Z d13-3. There is nothing special about this particular system. However it gets me deep enough into Kepler's Crest Region that I can now turn towards my next waypoint some 6,500 LYs away, deep within the Formidine Rift.

Waypoint #4

Arrival at waypoint #4 NGC 1931 Sector PD-S b4-0 (NGC 1931 Nebula) A relatively small and lesser-known nebula situated on the edge of the Perseus Arm.

Waypoint #3

I have reached my third waypoint this morning. (M36 Sector RI-T c3-5) This system houses a very rare phenomenon: five planets in complex orbits around each other. They have been named after Five Good Emperors of the Roman Empire from ancient Earth.

Waypoint #2

I have arrived at my next Waypoint in the Trifid of the North Sector. It is a narrow star cluster, approx. 2,500 LYs from Sol, that has the small Trifid of the North nebula embedded within. In mid-3301 this region was speculated as being a possible origin of the UA (Unidentified Artifact). But it is hard to know for sure.

Waypoint #1

Having departed from Schwann Port in the Hajangai system Yesterday (April 1st, 2019) I have made the 2,400 Ly trek to my first waypoint in the (1) Saguineous Rim. NGC 2168 MMS 278 (NGC 2168 Super Cluster) This cluster of densely packed stars measures roughly 600 Lys by 25 Lys. I hope to make my next waypoint this week, only 1,100 Lys away and still within the same Region of the galaxy.
