Their conviction and beliefs were challenged during the great Battle of Achenar, when the Federation attempted to force the Empire back into its fold through brute force. Shield of the Empire has had strong ties with the Duval family ever since its formation, and is currently working alongside the Emperor, Arissa Lavigny-Duval.
