Kentucky Rain

Using the money from Ram Tah I was able to fully outfit the Trust, switching out the Type 4 shield generator for a type 5 and engineering the power supply to provide excess power for my systems.

After the outfitting was complete, and a test run of bounty hunting in support of a new research facility in Abroin, I decided that the ship was so different that it warranted a new name. I thought back to my great grandfather's stories about our family history. We came from a place on old Earth known as Kentucky, one of the old semi-feudal states in the old pre-global government called The United States of America. He even played me an old Elvis song called, "Kentucky Rain" about a man wandering from town to town looking for his lost love. I can relate. That's why I've contacted the Pilot's Federation and had Rhea's Trust re-christened. Meet the "Kentucky Rain".

Canonn

After working with Tod McQuinn on some mods for the Trust's multi-cannons I decided to help out The Canonn's efforts to expand. Three pirate lords down and a nice load of coffee, H.E. Suits, and beer to help the effort. Hope it's enough. Pulled the suits straight from The Canonn Institute. My first visit. Beautiful station.

Ram Tah

The old professor wouldn't even see me in person. His money will spend all the same though. In the end, I found the last scrap of ancient data he was looking for on a god-forsaken planet over 1,000 light years from the bubble. The alien architecture there no less impressive, or depressing, as the first site I visited. Tah paid up nicely. 1 mil for each record recovered and a 100 mil bonus for collecting them all well under his four week deadline. Now I need to consider my next steps. I want to be in an Anaconda by the time all hell breaks loose with the Thargoids, but that means not just the money I need to buy one (which I now have) but also the money to kit it out a-spec, which I don't. Just in case I'm going to detour to McQuin. It's time the autocannons on my FDL got some special attention. If you can't be the biggest, at least hit the hardest.

Ruins

I was able to, eventually, get in the good graces of Dr. Palin. His corrosion resistant cargo bays are in place on the Divine Child and working as advertised. While awaiting further developments on the Thargoids, I've undertaken a mission for Ram Tah gathering data from the remnant technology of the race known as the Guardians. A race Tah believes came into conflict with the Thargoids some time ago. The empty ruins are haunting. Will this be our fate too?enter image description here enter image description here

The Grind

Gaining favor with Marko Gwent hasn't been easy. Leave it to one of these Sirius Corp. snobs to demand a commodity that you can sell but that no one will sell to you. What the hell is a modular terminal anyway? Oh well, the important thing is I've got them. All of them I need to buy my way in. I'll be honest, nothing Gwent is selling really sparks my interest. It's Palin I'm after. I've been working with the Canonn for a while now, and I think it's time to invest in a hold that can handle some of these alien things. Something is coming. I want to be ready.
