Dearest Brother,

   During a recent supply run I was interdicted 4 times on my way back.  All by Duval scum.  I'm convinced they have either intercepted my correspondence with you or have been tipped off somehow through my actions.  I have decided that I must proceed in secret and isolation.  I know it will be some time before you understand these words, or words at all.  I think of you often and know that you are in good care.   Please know that I do not go silent because of you, but because it's the best way to protect you.  To protect our legacy.  To one day be in a position to reclaim our rightful claim and place within the galaxy.  I will miss seeing vids of you.  Your first steps, your first words.   So much time will pass, for you, it will be easy.  But one day you will understand.   You are the future of this family and that must be protected.   I swear by the blood of our parents, you will have a better galaxy than the one left for me.

Long are the nights now.   I have been preparing for quite some time, I only have a few more steps to go.   The Thargoid War has pushed into our space, complicating our efforts and with the death of our father, I know the pressure falls to me.   I will avenge him.   You will not grow up in a galaxy completely void of justice.   Even if it's only by our own hands.   Soon will be the time where we reclaim our name from the traitors.    Not only do they steal our history, but to bastardize our name as well. The Duvals and the Lavigny will fall.    And they will die screaming.    I promise you, brother.   For now, sleep well.  And grow.

Dearest Brother,

   Preparation continues.  I have established myself with the Empire and the Federation.   I will exploit and make use of them to our benefit as we establish our footing in the galaxy.  I'm also closing in on the Duvals.   Aisling is such a naive child, they will have no idea what's coming to them.   I've taken their technology and we have their shields now.   It won't be long before we have the armada needed to take them on.
