Location: Eol Prou VK-W d2-448 (My Designation: Requies Inventoris)

I've returned to Requies Inventoris, "The Discoverer's Rest." The F-class primary, VK-W d2-448 A, burns white-hot off the glareshield, and the Caelum Quietus shudders as it drops into normal space.

There it is. A 3, my "Cradle of Hope." My first Earth-like World.

My ship's computer still holds the sensor logs from that first visit in August. I remember slamming the throttle, my probes lighting up that beautiful blue marble: a 1.48G super-Earth, a maelstrom of sapphire oceans and rusty-green continents. A paradise locked behind an atmospheric wall.

But this isn't a pilgrimage. It's an itinerary.

When I first found it, I didn't stay very long. Back then, they were just catalogue numbers for the codex. A "discovery" isn't just one jewel. It's the whole crown. A 3 may be the heart of this system, but I'm here to map its neighbors. I want to know what other systems sit around A 3.

I've landed on my old "Watchtower," the small, grey moon (A 3 a) with the perfect view, coordinates 57.5568, -152.3921. Cunae Spei is rising over the crater rim, filling the sky with its impossible, living beauty. It’s tempting to just... watch.
