(Mandalay)

Today I visited Ingobs FQ-Y d0. The system is spectacular, with a white dwarf and a brown dwarf right next to each other, 1400 light years above the galactic plane, and intergalactic space filling half the sky.
In the wake of the Starlace City CG I've been heading on a medium-length expedition up above the galactic plane to poke around with my new Mandalay. One of the more memorable sights today was a ringed moon, Bleae Thaa PP-C c14-1 11 d, with its ringed planet in the background -- but with an unusually good view, since the two ring systems are at an angle to one another.
Unfortunately the moon is not landable.
I found my first purple glowing Brown Dwarf with rings today, about 1200 LY east of Sol and 900 LY down. It's pretty. It has a moon you can land on, with several kinds of plants, and the gentle glow of the Brown Dwarf is visible from the surface - though I can't see the rings from there.
Today I went for a couple of walks in extreme environments - one at 20 K, the other at 1800 K.
Nice and cosy! I don't think my boots melted completely. That was on Prua Dryoae XA-V D3-18 A 3, which is also a planet with some very pleasant rings, and gravity of 2.1 G. Simultaneous workout and steam bath!
I came across Pro Eur HB-A c28-4 A 2 a today, a small ice world with a splendid view of the gas giant it orbits closely, where it's possible to find 5 out of the 6 materials needed for a premium FSD boost.
27/06/3311, 04:19:14. Discovered my first notable stellar phenomenon in Sifeae BC-K c22-17, about 3000 LY from Sol. On arrival it turned out to be a cloud of Rubeum Metallic Crystals and Albulum Gourds Molluscs. The Molluscs like zooming around, which made scanning them difficult; there were a couple of collisions.
