Apollo 15 Anniversary Expedition Completion

31 JUL 3307

I have reached waypoint 8, the last, of the expedition. This means I have completed my first expedition!

I will now return to The Bubble to continue my combat training.

Bubble shenanigans and going on an expedition

25 JUL 3307

I must admit, I forgot to maintain my logbook for a while.

So, in short. Trading and missions in The Bubble, the usual. Then I tried my hand at more combat. One thing led to another, some time was spent on finding engineers.

But now, now I'm back out in the black! Oh yeah, exploring! There's this expedition in honor of the ancient Apollo 15 mission that I'm taking part in. Honestly, I'm mostly playing catch up, because I'm never flying when the other expedition members are jumping to the next waypoint. But maybe, just maybe, I will catch up today and meet some of those amazing people again.

Remember, fly dangerous! o7

A Casual Day in The Bubble

21 JUN 3307

Note to self: fighting a combat Anaconda in an exploration Krait Phantom is not a good idea, even if this Krait does have pretty decent armaments mounted. Or maybe I should just git gud.

A good fellow over at Ising Refinery was in desperate need of 2 units of 'Performance Enhancers'. I'm not one to stop them from having some fun, it didn't take me long to deliver the package.

Furthermore some unspecified activities took place.

Jameson Crash Site & Dav's Hope

18 JUN 3307

The other day I saw that there exist places that sell fully engineered FSD's! They just want to have some materials and some information to craft them, that's all.

On a completely unrelated note, I visited the crash site of CMDR Jameson. It's quite a sad story he left behind and there is so much to learn from the beacons placed around the crash site. I kept coming back, because every time there was some new information to be gained.

After a bit of flying around The Bubble I came across a deserted mining outpost, Dav's Hope. There I learned about how far some people are willing to go for money, some are even willing to place a price on peoples heads. When the miners left the outpost they left behind some thinks. I hope they won't mind me picking them up.

Did I already tell about how much I hate landing on platforms close to the mail slot? How am I supposed to boost into the station when I have to dive down right after entering?!

Back in The Bubble!

13 Jun 3307

I was happily jumping from system to system until the neutron star density became so low that I decided to just continue in a straight line.

There were 30 jumps or so remaining until I would reach Shinrarta Dezra and I could already see the signs of being close to The Bubble. The chances of getting first discoveries became smaller and smaller until suddenly, I had arrived in The Bubble!

It has been 5 months since I left! And 4.5 months since I last saw a station. A real space station, not a fleet carrier! My explorations have earned me almost 500 million credits, I feel like a rich man now. It's time for ship upgrades. And a repaint! Apparently I didn't bring any weapons, I didn't even notice, because there was no need for them. I might mount some on the Krait Phantom, but I think it's better to simply grab another ship that is more suited for work in The Bubble.

And yes, I will stay around for a while, doing missions, engineering some stuff and what else. We'll see.

Triple Water World

6 JUN 3307

On my trip back to the bubble I came across a nice triple water world system. They are all orbiting each other, it's a pretty nice cash grab! For anyone interested in seeing this: go to Plieleae QB-X d1-1

DSSA TMCV Spartacus

3 JUN 3307

After flying the loop of shame I got to take a good look at the gas giant Spartacus is orbiting. It is beautiful! It's gray-white, but not in a dull way, this might be the best looking gas giant I have ever seen.

The crew of the Spartacus was welcoming and I took a well deserved break. Thank you CMDR Notso F. Obvious for providing services so far out in the black!

Now it's time to find the nearest super neutron high way ramp so I can reach the Bubble asap. I've been out in the black for a few months now and the closer I get to home the louder it calls.

DSSA Kitty Corner

21 MAY 3307

Do you remember that SRV that I bought a few fleet carriers back? No? Well, I finally got to use it! I did a bit of low gravity drifting and gathered some resources. It was mostly uneventful.

Now on to the main news: I arrived at DSSA FC No. 12 Kitty Corner. I sold my cartographics data and left. I want to get back to the bubble soon-ish, there's an expedition starting soon.

DSSA Dryman's Hope

18 MAY 3307

I took a break, staring into the void, but the void's call was not strong enough. I persisted and arrived at Dryman's Hope. This DSSA FC is parked next to a beautiful binary star system.

Well, that's enough civilization for now, I'll be seeing more of that soon enough. After number 11 it's off to number 12: DSSA Kitty Corner.

DSSA Nostromo

25 APR 3307

Short, uneventful trip, not much to say about it.

I think I'll stay at the DSSA Nostromo for a week or so, maybe shorter. Then I'll move on to DSSA Dryman's Hope. This time for real. Thank you CMDR Hyundai35 for letting me visit DSSA FC number 10.
