So, after about 3 years out in the void i was back in communication range for a while, beeing cut short because of those Thargoid Attacks. So i just made the repair needed to my beloved vessel and hightailed out in the void again.

In these 3 Years i have been to many of the sights around the galaxy:

• Sagittarius A
• VY Canis Majoris
• Beagle Point

just to name a few of them.

The next leg of my neverending journey took me to the biggest system recorded (to my knowledge at least) with 147 Objects in the Scanner.

• Greae Phoea YF-M d8-232

Biggest System i got my name stamped on (first to discover, map) had 86 Object i think.

• Flyua Hype TR-S B50-1

Right now i'm on my way to visit colonia (again :-D).

Not yet sure what i'll do next. Maybe a journey around the rim or a looping visiting highest and lowest places.

I think it's a good setup for exploring with stops on the planets. Even has enough power and shield to be forgiving if you happen to make a mistake (like hitting the brakes to late on a high g one :-) )

Nachdem ich nun jahrelang für andere Fracht und Personen im All umherkutschiert habe ist nun endlich mein Traum erfüllt. Ein eigenes Schiff, umgebaut nach meinen Vorgaben um damit die Galaxis zu erkunden.

Einfallslos wie ich nun einmal bin trägt das Schiff den schlichten Namen: Blanche.

Nachdem das Shuttle am Jameson Memorial angedockt hat eile ich zu der ersten Begegnung. Fast andächtig streicht die Hand über das Geländer als ich in ihren Bauch klimme.

Zum ersten Mal sitze ich im meinem Schiff, in meinem Cockpit, in meinem Captains-Stuhl.

Ein gutes Gefühl, ohne Frage.

Der Aufzug fährt uns auf das Flugdeck der Station hinauf und ich erhalte die Erlaubnis zum Start.

Auf in die unendlichen Weiten der Galaxis. Vorsichtig steuere ich mein Schiff durch den Mail Slot in das All hinaus. Kaum habe ich den Slot passiert als ich auch schon die Schubkontrolle ganz ganz vorne schiebe und zusätzlichen Treibstoff für den Boost in die Brennkammern leite. Tief in den Sitz gedrückt schalte ich den FSD dazu.

Erst einmal weg von den üblichen Flugrouten. Als erstes Ziel für meine Sightseeing-Tour steht die Riesensonne:

After long years of doing jobs for other people i had at least cashed up enough money to buy my own ship, customized to my liking to explore the galaxy.

Simple as i am sometimes i christened her Blanche.

After the shuttle docked at Jameson Memorial i almost break into a run, not wanting to wait any longer for our first meet. As i climbed up the ladder to enter my ship my hands touched the railing with almost reverence.

For the first time i'm in my ship, my cockpit, my command chair.

Best feeling ever.

The Lift raises us to the flight deck, preleminary flight checks already done. We get the all clear for take of and our first journey begins. Carefully guiding the ship through the mail slot i hit the throttle as soon as we're past, even igniting the afterburner for a short boost. Pressed deeply into the seat i activate the FSD.
