I found my first undiscoverd earthlike on my way to the NGC 3199 nebula. I should be about halfway there at the moment. I make my way slow and steady, scanning every single system I visit. From time to time I decide to land on a planet, that seems interesting or just to gatehr some exobiological samples. I found a planet that when I landed reminded me of a desert. The lightning was beautiful and there was nothing but sand and cliffs.

I've made good progress on the first day. I reached the Outer Orion Spur Sector and made my first few Neutron Jumps. But I think I'm gonna stick to normal jumps, I don't want my FSD to take damage and I have the feeling that using this method would feel to rushed. I want to discover shit after all. Speaking of, I already found two notable stellar phenomena in one system. So yeah, I guess this day was a success.

Today I started to head out of the bubble once again for another expedition into the dark. My first destination will be the NGC 3199 nebula. I'll probably follow the Sagittarius-Carina Arm after that. I don't know where this journey will ultimately take me, but I believe there are great discoveries to be made.

I think I'm gonna call it the "Ganymed Expedition" just because it sounds nice.

Elite Dangerous is a very diverse game. Every player can choose a play style that suits them best. But I don't really understand players who spend their time ganking others without a clear motive. If you want to play a pirate and blow up some traders to steal their cargo - fine, do your thing, cool cool. But simply ganking to fuck up others players in systems like Shinrarta Dezhra or Deciat, where a lot of commanders only fly to engineer or outfit their ships, than this just makes you an asshole in my eyes. But fair is fair, Elite is a role playing game after all and if you decide to role play as a bitchy little cunt, then you have every right to do so. Long story short: I will only enter those systems in solo mode from now on.

Today I got me my first mining build - a Python outfitted for both laser and core mining. I named it after the "father of geology", Georgius Agricola. On my first platinum run I made 55 million in about 1,5h, I guess you could call that a success. One more run and I got the money back that I spent on the Python.
