On the road to Heart and Soul

After admiring the stunning views from Crab Nebula, we hit the road to Heart and Soul. But as we were jumping, the ship's crew become more and more exhausted. As our jumps ended between binary stars for few times, we decided to take some rest.

Crab Nebula

Today, we made over 40 jumps from Jellyfish Sector and arrived at Station X in Crab Sector DL-Y d9. The surrounding Crab nebula is delightfully beautiful. When you are near the neutron star, you can feel the surrounding emptiness. enter image description here

We stop for a while in the station and launch back into space to admire the view.

While travelling, we found two new systems with beautiful water worlds, and we were awarded with over 10MCr. Now to the bar

Elephant's trunk mine - decisions

We recovered the rest of the navigation data. It occurred, that we missed few stations along the way. Now we must decide to go back or to proceed to Heart and Soul nebulae and further, or go back.

Docked at Iris Vacations

After yesterday's navigation failures, we were worried that it will happen again. But this time "Determination" systems worked flawlessly. We arrived safely to FW-Cefei - Iris Vacations. enter image description here

And It appeared we were lucky to find new systems. enter image description here

What happened here?

On our way to next Asteroid base, we came across binary system, where each star had only one small rocky planet. Both of these planets were severely damaged. We decided to scan them for traces of disastrous events. enter image description here

Navigation computer failure

Today we had navigation computer major failure. From Orion Nebula, it was possible to plot route only to stars within 20ly radius. Crew handled all the navigation manually for near 300Ly, but we managed to reach the Flaming Star Logistics Centre Flaming Star Logistics Centre

3 bases in a row - jumping marathon

Asteroid bases tour continues. As the the distances are getting longer, we spend more time on navigation, jumping and keeping our "Determination" in good condition. Our stops today were: Ring mine, enter image description here enter image description here

Witch Head Science Centre, enter image description here

Orion Nebula Tourist Centre. enter image description here

Our Asteroid bases tour continues.

Every visited rock has its stunning surrounding area and some specific traits. One of them: "Pirates lament" - what a great name when pirates constantly scan our ship and end empty-handed.

Harvard Base - located so close the main star, that fuel scoop was active on approach, and jumping away, required using of additional heat dissipation methods, to not cook our ship.

Next planned stage of our trip was route to Pleione - Stargazer to T Tauri - Hind Mine Pleione - Stargazer

T Tauri - Hind Mine

After exiting the dock, we decided to make stop at nearby tourist beacon T Tauri A 2 a and admire the nebula.

Then we headed to Pencil Sector - New Growth station
