The Dyings Lights are located in a star system near the Segnao Starburst. They consist of two Wolf-Rayet stars that stopped their hydrogen fusion and have begun to shed their outer layers. Eventually only the helium core will remain and the intense solar winds will create a planetary nebula. Both WR stars are also candidates for a supernova as they are massive enough to eventually fuse iron, thus causing a millisecond core collapse, quite possibly resulting in a Black Hole.
