Formorian Frontier

After a bit of searching through my map archive (and a bit of improvisation) I managed to finally find a route forward, which should eventually lead me to Thomaski Point Memorial. The last few thousand light years of journey behind me looks like very twisted three dimensinal version of corkscrew, as I was navigating my way through very scarce and and unevenly distributed stars in the area. But at least it was not a boring flight. :-)

I finally entered Formorian Frontier region in the Wruetheia systems. From here, the route should be a bit more straightforward (I hope). The constant jumping up and down, left and right, long and short is getting on my nerves a bit. I am curious what this new region will have prepared for me in any case. :-)

DSSA Galactic Unity

I made a rest stop at the DSSA Galactic Unity at Byoi Aowsy XD-L b40-0. While I sold some of the cartographic data I gathered there and made some repairs, MOstly I needed some change of scenery. After all, I had been travelling for a while alone and some company came in useful. Even when it cost me some credits; I will probably never learn to play poker. Thankfully I play for fun, not to earn money.

My next stop will be Beagle Point now, if I will be able to find some reasonable route to it; it seem the one I originally intended to take is not viable despite my mapping helpers are telling me so. But that is ther difference between theory and practice. I found some checkpoint partway through my original plan and I will then just proceed from there, point by point. At least my journey will have a bit of a surprise element in it, as a true adventure should have. :-) DSSA Galactic Unity

Newton's Vault

I finally entered Newton's Vault. The DSSA Carrier which is my current main subobjective is still about 3000 light years away from me I think, but at least I am progressing.

It is already noticable that here at the Preae Aub systems the stars are much more sparse then they were when I was doing my last entry. I crossed one of the Milky Way northern arms and now I will mostly be heading into the black. I kinda find that comforting tho; I had to solve too many problems lately and it is time I finally relax a bit.

Izanami

Ryker's Hope region turned out to be more of a transitional place for me - I did find some new places worthy of closer look, but percentage wise the region is mostly just a bunch of dead rocks (or frozen dead rocks). Still, it was a new place and as such it was interesting to fly through it, though I will probably not have any reason to return, unless I have to get to something on the other side of it.

Now I am in an Izanami region, I crossed borders here in the Splojoea systems. I have not been here either before, so I am curious what will I find (if anything) around here. Ultimately I do not intend to stop, as my goal is DSSA fleet carrier in Newton's Vault region. I just hope it is still there, my info was a bit old, but even if not, it will be still an interesting journey. And I am sure I will be able to find another place to get something to drink nearby eventually. :-)

Ryker's Hope

I left Explorer's Achorage few days later then I originally planned (I met new friend and we celebrated a bit). But eventually I launched my Eternal Wonderer and pointed it towards my next stop - that is, Beagle Point. At least next major stop. I will probably visit some fleet carrier on the way - not that I need repairs, it is not such a long journey, but it is a handy excuse for a sidetrip.

It did not take me long to cross borders from Galaxy Centre to Ryker's Hope region, in the Eorld Byoe systems. As with the Galaxy Centre before, this is the first time I am visiting this part of space.

It is good to always have a new places to wander into. :-)

Sagittarius A

I finally made my way to supermassive black hole in Sagittarius A and - of course - made myself one obligatory selfie with it. Sagittarius A

After that, I just jumped one system away to the Stuemeae FG-Y d7561 and visited Explorer's Anchorage station. It was not exactly necessary, thou it was nice to be able to sell all the exploration data I gathered so far. But all the way here, ahile popular, was just kind of a test drive for my new Anaconda - after all, my next real stop will be Beagle Point, although I will probably visit some fleet carrier on the way too. So I wanted to make sure everything is in a working order. I hope there is also a bar here on the station. I do not plan to start next phase of my journey until tomorrow, and every girl wants to have some fun once in awhile. :-)

Galactic Centre

For so long I had nothing much to do but travelling, I did not even bother to keep the log. But I made my way through Empyrean Straits to the Galactic Centre. It is first time I am visiting this region of galaxy. So far I kinda know I am in it only thanks to computer logs, nothing much really changed in scenery - although the density of the stars grows gradually higher as I approach Sagittarius A. But here in the Zuni systems I am just at the edge of the Centre and while the view is nice and full of eerie light, I do not have the feeling of a forbidden wall from it I once had - it is just another system on a way. Sagittarius A should not be far now; I wonder how it actually looks like live. I had seen the pictures, but first-hand experience is always different.

Norma Arm

It seems that - at least for now - I was not meant to enjoy Norma Expanse for long. Only some 1 700 ly after entering it soma 13 700 ly from the start of my current expedition at Lombi at about the journy from Sol in this case), I was again in my well known Norma Arm region, in the Gria Hypue systems. Oh well, maybe later I will have time to explore Norma Expanse better. For now, Sagittarius A awaits.

Norma Expanse

Another new region today - Norma Expanse. I entered it in the Blae Hypue systems, little over 12 000 ly from Lombi, where I started my current trip. It is not so different from Norma Arm, which I know well enough from my previous journeys. The center wall of stars around Sagittarius A starts to be really noticable now though. Last time I was nearby, in my previous ship - Krait Mk.II Natural Disorder - I was already making a third pit stop for repairs by now. While I still love my Krait for its agility, which Eternal Wonderer can not match, is nice to not have to worry about stopping now. I have barely few scratches and can repair anything I would need (in case something happens) easily now.

Inner Scutum-Centaurus Arm

I entered Inner Inner Scutum-Centaurus Arm today, in the Prooe Hypue systems. I think this is first time I am in this region; my travels so far always taken me east and south of here. So far my journey is almost too easy, although I do not want to it curse it of course. But my Eternal Wanderer was created for long journeys and the travel here, some 8 700 ly long, is something she barely registered. It is a nice change after my previous trips and I am eager to find out how will the space look ahead of us.
