MADE IT! Took a long time in distance, but I made it! Investigated the Codex items, got a little banged up with lightning, earned a couple badges, but overall I feel ACCOMPLISHED!

Now comes the HARD question: Now that I'm here, where to go? I mean, sure, I could just make a bee-line home and sell a BUTTLOAD of data, but maybe I should see if there are any other points of interest out this way. Maybe go over the galactic plane then aim for Station-X a while, or see if I can make it to the rim again... dunno.

But for now, I'm bunking it until I decide what to do.

One of the WEIRD items I'd just found (last entry) was a Water Giant. Turns out, that's a 'normal' Codex entry. So it's scanned and added to my book.

Am also finding a number of bodies that are coming up as, "Non-Terraformable". Which is odd since that's the default status for any world. I don't get it. I was intentionally scanning those bodies, but I'm going to stop doing that, since it seems to be a bug in the scanner system. Dunno..

I've decided to take a pause for now and scan most of the system next time, especially considering this binary star system has a separation of nearly 500,000 ls for my travel. There IS a bright side, BOTH stars are scoopable, so no worries there.

Looks like I've topped my jump distance record. 210ly, effectively maxed out on a boost... TWICE! At least I didn't fall into the occlusion zone this time! (Funny enough, I think working the Neutron Stars are EASIER - since the cone is so much longer. Less chance to end up in the zone. But that might just be me and my flying skills.)

Got a number of First Systems / Worlds - trying to do a minimal system scan at least, if there's something worthwhile... but then ONLY doing surface scans if there's a Water World or Gas Giant with Life. I'm looking for Codex items, but specifically Organics. Geologics aren't that important to me, though I scanned a few.

Passed over a number of planets with decent concentrations of higher-grade raw materials. I'll save prospecting for the return home or if Space Madness starts to hit and I need a change of the monotony.

So far, so good! Harmony's Hoof is behaving well so far. And even though I'm not making FABULOUS time out to my destination, I'm gaining a lot of scanning info; a number of Gas Giants with water or ammonia life, a number of Water Worlds, and at least ONE full system scan of an unreported system before (PRAEA EUQ FT-U C2-29)!

The last jump I made was a DOOSIE! 208.78 ly on a Neutron Star boost! Best of my knowledge, that's the farthest I'be jumped to date. Fortunately that puts me into an M-Class Brown Dwarf. Nice and quiet to rest before the next series of jumps.

Checking through the Codex, I found an entry regarding a Lagrange Cloud in Hawking's Gap... and I thought.... "It's not been confirmed yet. How about I do that?" Plus, while I'm out there, who knows? Maybe I'll see about a couple other organic structures or find something new for the Codex.

Not sure if I'll be streaming this later, but we'll see.

So, I decided to head out on some exploration time.. and on the way back from a 600-ish LY trip away from home, ended up spotting a Non-Human threat 9 signal in Synuefe RT-Z c16-10! Didn't get to investigate the 9, but did drop into a 5. Was scanned and left alone by a Thargoid Interceptor 'Cyclops'. After learning that a 9 would have been instantly hostile, there's no way I would have come away from THAT encounter without a rebuy.

Accidentally found a Thargoid base here, though it's already been known about / documented. Not going to do much except scavenge around the base for a bit before headed out again.

• ED-D AGAIN got updates while I was in the middle of exploring, so was VERY not-synced up with what I was doing. I basically ignored him while I did my thing. Very few water / Earth-like / terraformable worlds this run, so no biggie really.

Decided to just do a long run today - instead of 2 or so hours drove / explored about 3 but in my "Honk, Check, ONLY SCAN THE HIGH VALUE PLACES.... then blip out" node. About 3,700 LY covered, so I think I made a good chomp at getting closer to home.
