More than a thousand years ago, today was known as “World Book Day“. Fitting perhaps then that today marks the first page of a new chapter in the story of the DR Crucis system.

At 0700 GST today Federal forces and support staff were observed leaving their positions. The illegal occupation of DR Crucis is now at an end. The DR Crucis system is now once again in the hands of it’s own people and LTT 4961 is out of range of exploitation by any major power.

What this sudden cessation of fighting on the part of the Federation means we cannot be sure yet but abuses of civilians in DR Crucis and some of the surrounding systems has already come to light.

The ruling council of Conway City have announced that today will be forever known as DR-Day.

“In recognition of the sacrifices made by those who fought against tyranny, every 03/03 will from now on be marked by an hour of contemplation at 0700 to mark the moment the guns fell silent.”
