It was the day that I finally graduated from the Galactic Academy! My dream finally came true and I was already feeling my fingers itching from the anticipation to own and fly first ship! After a couple of beers with my classmates I started strolling towards the shipyard thinking what my first ship will be! I knew I didn't have the money to buy a new one, but I was almost certain I could afford a decent used one. My mind was fantasizing my newly bought keelback, or my krait mkii, or even a python if I was lucky!!! Little did I know back then about prices and a couple of minutes after I entered the yard I realized that I could only afford a Cobra mk3... A used Cobra mk3 fitted for courier purposes... Only the standard hardpoints and some cargo space to get the job done. At least it had a great engine and fsd drive. I swallowed my pride and my enthusiasm and went on with signing all the necessary papers for the endless bureaucracy, so that I can finally get to work. I was lucky there was plenty of courier contracts at Mawson Dock, so I started immediately doing work for the Pilots' Federation Administration. After the shipment was loaded, I sat on the cockpit and turned on the engines! Their grinding noise sounded sweet in my ears!!! "Landing gear retracted" said verity and i made my way to the queue, right behind a Type - 6 and a Phantom. One day i will own one of these.....Maybe both if i'm lucky. The galaxy is vast and the opportunities are never ending! The traffic control operator called "safe travels commander" when i left Mawson Dock. Next stop Coelho Station in Matet system!
