Day 25 ~ Equatorial Circumnavigation Tour 2018

Jumped the 123LY to Hyphudgou YE-A g1 using the neutron star in Hyphudgou YE-A g4 to give a jet-cone boost

neutron boost

There is an O type star with a rare Herbig Ae/Be Star and B type star for company. Unfortunately I can only jump 122.41LY with the ships current fuel level and would have to burn off fuel to be able to reach the 123.22LY to jump back.

burning off fuel

It took about an hour to burn off enough fuel to do a Level 3 FSD boost back to Hyphudgou YE-A g4. I then had just enough fuel to make a jet-cone boost to Hyphudgou ZU-Y f0 and then head back into navigable space.

My next destination was Hyphudgou ZU-Y f16 a system with a black hole and 4 neutron stars!

I finished the day in Hyphudgou WP-X e1-3 gathering much needed jumponium materials bathed in the intense light of the galaxy hanging above.

Day 24 ~ Equatorial Circumnavigation Tour 2018

I've detected a system Hyphudgou YE-A g1 which is sitting 3,020LY below the galactic plane.

I'm trying to work out a route to visit this system as my navigation computer will not plot a route to it even using neutron star boosts. I also need to make sure I can jump back as there is no neutron star in the target system which can give a boost back.

I've detected a system Hyphudgou YE-A g4 which seems to be fairly close, it has a primary black hole and a neutron star for company, which may be useful for a boost into system Hyphudgou YE-A g1

I left Hyphudgou AQ-X e1-2 and travelled the 7 jumps to Hyphudgou YE-A g1

Hyphudgou YE-A g1 is only 123LY away and with planning the fuel correctly, is just within range of a engineered primary boost. But I will also need to save fuel for the return journey as Hyphudgou YE-A g1 has no fuel star and the next closest fuel star is 100LY away. I currently have two thirds of a tank of fuel which is too heavy to make a 123LY jump. I'll burn to the Neutron star which is 35,000ls away.

Days 20 to 23 ~ Equatorial Circumnavigation Tour 2018

Travelled 2,339LY from Schao Prao ZU-Y f10 to Hyphudgou AQ-X e1-2

I had trouble with scans not being updated since the update, which limited my travel and exploration for a couple of days!

I've headed into an area -2900LY below the galactic plane which has numerous Type O and B stars mixed with black holes and neutron stars.

Schao Prao ZU-Y f7 is a system with a black hole and a neutron star

Schi Prau WP-X e1-2 is a system with an earth like world sitting 2,888LY below the galactic plane.

Planet B is an earth like world

Day 19 ~ Equatorial Circumnavigation Tour 2018

Travelled 806LY from Hyphudgao XB-S d5-1 to Schao Prao ZU-Y f10

Schao Prao ZU-Y f10 is a green system with a black hole and white dwarf. I spent some time here exploring the planets and admiring the great views of the galaxy hanging above. This system is 2,800LY below the galactic plane.

Day 15 ~ Equatorial Circumnavigation Tour 2018

Travelled 1,838LY from Byoomuia HL-P d5-1 to Hypoea Proo UT-R d4-0

I'm already down to -2,200LY below the galactic plane

Day 14 ~ Equatorial Circumnavigation Tour 2018

Travelled 1,310LY from Hypoea Pra AB-U d4-1 to Byoomuia HL-P d5-1

I have crossed the inter-arm gap between the Norma Arm and the Scutum-Centaurus Arm. I had to ascend up to -1,300 to make the crossing, but now I'm in the Norma Arm I aim to get well below -2,000 and hopefully should be reaching below -3,000 as I approach the centre.

Total distance travelled from start = 19,110LY/14 Days = 1,365LY/Day

Day 13 ~ Equatorial Circumnavigation Tour 2018

Travelled 1,388LY from Gloomoo MX-S d4-2 to Hypoea Pra AB-U d4-1

I've realised I'm travelling along the 25,000 latitude line and Sagittarius A sits on the 25,900 latitude line! I was going to adjust my position, but have decided I'm happy to continue the circumnavigation on the 25,000 latitude line as it has a matching grid line on the Galactic Map.
