Commander's Personal Log Entry 1,

Well, I finally made it. I got my own ship, I met some friends and I've already made more money in the last week than I ever could have made in a year back home.

I admit, the transition wasn't easy. Heh. At first, I was terrified to even touch any of the controls for fear of crashing the ship... but now... now I've learned to trust her to get me to my destination in one peace.

Hm… the last few days weren’t entirely uneventful. I’ve had pirates attempt to interdict me twice. First time had me fighting to stay in super cruise for a good 5 minutes. The second time however had me break free in seconds. Bloody pirates… hm, ah yes.

Apparently, the Thargoids are back. I’ve seen multiple videos of people getting pulled out of witchspace and being scanned.

The decision of whether or not to attack the Thargoids is an ongoing argument amongst commanders, though most agree that they’d like to encounter the Thargoids themselves.

Last I heard, Commanders were taking their ships to the Pleiades to investigate.
