Finally halfway to Colonia

Hello friends

So I'm finally over halfway to Colonia. I passed Prai Hypoo last week and made a pit stop at a Fleet carrier. I was expecting a fully equipped shipyard and an overflowing outfitting hanger... At least my Hull and paint are repaired I suppose. Traded in some exploration data for over 100,000,000 so at least I finally have some credits. I managed to engineer my FSD to get a extra ly so now I'm rocking an impressive 18.2ly of jump range lol. Im actually having trouble finding discovered systems out here which is great. I'm going to start avoiding nebulae as everything near them is already discovered.

I'm thinking of buying a new ship when I finally arrive at colonia. I'm most likely going to have around 500,000,000 credits so I can finally buy whatever ship I will want. I'm longing for a type 10 but they are not normally in supply out in Colonia.

So the Proteus Wave was a disaster, salvation is "dead", the thargoids are not impressed, guardian tech doesn't work in the affected system, the thargoids are actually holding a system and possibly expanding.... Its not a bad time to be a Cmdr out in the black.

I will check in again next week Cmdrs.

Toodle loo.

Time to start keeping a log...

So this is my first entry in the old logbook. I left the bubble quite some time ago. My current system is Byoi Thua EL-B b56-2 which is alot further than I thought I would end up travelling. My next goal is Traikeou nebula and the Wolf-Rayet star nearby.

I keep mapping the next nebula on the way to colonia. I just kind of started travelling in that direction and now it's too late to turn back. I have seen those space crystals that some commanders speak of, lagrange clouds, space mushrooms, stars that no commander has ever found etc. Deep space is great craic altogether.

The Shite Hawk is doing a fine job of this exploration business. The 17ly jump range has probably lengthened the journey considerably but sure that's more scan data in long term. The Python was made to last to be fair to it.

Feck me I miss Kakmbul right now and my bunk at Bacon Hub.

Hopefully this logging of my odyssey will fend off the space madness for a few months.
