After making a run to Sag A I decided to try a bit different exploration project to make my way (eventually) back to the bubble. First, I ran (as directly as possible) straight up from Sag A to the "highest" point in the galaxy that I could reach. Then, after returning to Explorers for a rest I dove straight down from Sag A to the "lowest" point I could reach .... my version of going to the top and the bottom.

At that point I decided to head due "south" to that "edge" of the galaxy while trying to bounce along the "bottom" on the way. So far it has been an interesting ride and only very occasionally am I coming across a system which someone else has visited. IN the mean time I have found a few Earth Likes along the way which look pretty cool when framed between the dazzle of the Milky Way above and deep black of nothing below.
