#110 Route to Sol
  • 3304 03.NOV
  • 17:40
  • After reaching the last waypoint, which is a system with a pulsar and some planets, I scanned all objects in it.
  • Now I'll start the last part of the journey towards the bubble. Sol is exactly 5000Ly away from the pulsar and my navigation system calculated 70 jumps for that. If I start jumping right now, I might reach the bubble before I need some sleep.

#109 Route to Sol
  • 3304 03.NOV
  • 15:16
  • I just reached the last of the 3 systems with black holes in it I wanted to visit on my way back. It contains several stars and planets.
  • Since I want to get back into the bubble as fast as possible, I won't stay here any longer and start travelling towards the last waypoint I set for myself.

#108 Route to Sol
  • 3304 03.NOV
  • 11:04
  • The system I reached yesterday contained not only one but 4 black holes! As I planned, I only stayed long enough in the system to scan the most important objects. After that I plotted a rout to the last black hole I want to visit before I get back into the bubble.
  • Right now I'm 4000Ly away from the next black hole, which will take me about 60-70 jumps.

#107 Route to Sol
  • 3304 02.NOV
  • 14:32
  • After I reached the first black hole, I stayed in the system for a few hours to get some rest. When I woke up, I let my board computer calculate a route to the next black hole I wanted to visit and started jumping.
  • Now I'm just 5 jumps away from it and when I get there, I might not stay there, so I can get back to the bubble earlier.

#106 Route to Sol
  • 3304 01.NOV
  • 17:42
  • Reaching the last waypoint wasn't difficult. Once I was there, I sold my exploration data and did some missions. I also replaced a cargo rack with a fuel tank and changed the repair limpet controller into a fuel transfer controller, so that I could resque someone if he runs out of fuel.
  • Right now I'm on my way back to Sol. I'm not flying directly towards the bubble, because I found 3 black holes and one pulsar that I wanted to visit first. The first balck hole is just 50 jumps away from Colonia.

#105 Route to Sol
  • 3304 31.OCT
  • 21:04
  • Reaching the 25th waypoint took longer than I expected, even though there were so many neutron stars that about half of my jumps were boosted!
  • The next waypoint is the end of the expedition and I hope I can cross the distance quickly. It's just 1200Ly away and will take me probably 12 jumps.

#104 Route to Sol
  • 3304 31.OCT
  • 18:44
  • I've reached the 22nd waypoint, which is a system with a neutron star and some planets.
  • My next waypoint would be the 23rd, but since it is not directly in line towards Colonia, I think I'll pass this one as well as the 24th, which is also not very practical to fly to. That means that I'll start flying towards the 25th, which is 8700Ly away or 54 jumps with my anaconda.

#103 Route to Sol
  • 3304 30.OCT
  • 15:38
  • Reaching the 20th waypoint wasn't a challenge at all. Even though it was 3200Ly away, I only had to jump 28 times because of the neutron stars that boosted my jump range.
  • Now I'm at the 21st waypoint of the expedition I'm following. The system is 3600Ly away from the previous one, but I only had to jump 20 times! Like the previous waypoint, this system contains a big class O star, but in addition it has several stars around the main star and no planets.
  • The next waypoint is 3400Ly away which will take me only 18 jumps if my navigation system is right.

#102 Route to Sol
  • 3304 29.OCT
  • 20:30
  • The 19th waypoint doesn't look very interesting. I'm one jump away from it now, because I decided to visit a system close to it first. It has 2 Ae/Be stars in it, which is why I jumped here.
  • If the 19th waypoint is interesting in any way, I'll stay for a while to get some sleep, but if not, I'll start jumping towards the next waypoint until I'm too tired.

#101 Route to Sol
  • 3304 29.OCT
  • 17:19
  • The 90 jumps didn't took me very long. I've reached the 18th waypoint a while ago and stayed here to enjoy the view and gather some data, because in this system are a class O star and two class B stars that are very big.
  • The next waypoint is 5800Ly away, so 1k Ly less than the previous ones. The route also leads me through a denser part of the galaxy, which means that there are more neutron stars than before. Because of them and the shorter distance, my ships' computer calculates just 56 jumps for that part of the journey.
