Selection for its ranks is a distinguished honour, and its directive is to serve as a joint task force in times of crisis against any threats to humanity. This unified front was first proposed by Major General Deadeye Snipes as a vanguard against common enemies, and as a stabilising element between superpowers in their stand against terrorism, piracy or even alien aggression.
