rear admiral

I was told, Niu Hsing would hold missions to get more recognition in the navy quickly. Once I arrived, this wasn't so. I headed to Lebedev Installation in the nearby Col 285 Sector YF-M C8-8 System. No luck there either. Only 2 missions, none of them appealing. Out of desperation I took my asp to the small orbital station in Niu Hsing. And I found they needed money. Loads of money. I donated nearly 70 million credits. And a quick look in the mission board later, and I was rear admiral. Finally. Now only one thing remains...

Unexpected hurdles

I have just learned that hauling alcohol doesn't get me much recognition at all. At least they like it when I pay them the money, I made from hauling people around. That will speed things up. I won't give up though. But maybe I will return to LTT 2684 and deliver data instead. Perhaps Exphiray or Sothis are better options. I won't give up. I am so close now!

Elite

Finally I have done it. Elite Trader. Transporting Passengers from LTT 2684 to Namorodo has paid off. In fact it has paid off so much, that I was granted the title of Elite Trader just one week after starting this venue. But I have no time to rest. For it is the career of an officer in the Navy of the Galactic Federation that I really aspire. My newfound rank will give me some leverage, along with some new freedom.

Over the course of my tour of duty I have heard again and again Rumors about a fabled system, where it is easy to gain recognition with the Navy. The system is Tun. Since Exphiray and Sothis are no longer an option to me, I have decided to have a look. What I found was beyond my best expectations. 8 factions, and only one of which is not loyal to the Federation. Plenty of logistics work is to be done here. Mostly to two systems. I decided to reequip my cargo racks and transport ... morale juice to the nearby systems. A job that is not for a combat pilot such as me, but morale is important, as is logistics.

I will take this opportunity, and soon the title of Rear Admiral will be mine to hold.

Career

I need... to impress, something else I am not fond of. But necessary to buy the most beautiful ship in existence. Already post commander, doing nothing but carrying cargo from one place to the next, hauling a million datasticks between exphiray and caropus. When I heard of that beautiful ship, I cursed myself that I had not pursued my career in 17 draconis. The pay was good. And so was my ascension into the rank of lieutenant. I thought money was everything back then. I was wrong. Information I now know. My recent luck with assignments of cargo hauling made me a decent amount of cash too. But more importantly in a matter of days, it ascended me into the rank of post commander. Just two more to go. But it could wait. Not for long, because I am eager. Eager to wage war on those that would threaten law and order. But sometimes one has to choose to take advantage of others. And I chose to do just that. Not that It'd hurt anybody, but the pay was just too good to be true. Within days I became filthy rich, I felt bad, mostly because I don't need the money. Nor do I think I deserve so much of it. What I did need was recognition. Not from the federal navy this time, but the pilots federation itself. They don't care how it's done. But if you make enough money, you will become an elite. An elite, who will for the rest of their life gain benefits. This is the rare and short opportunity. I will become an elite by the end of the day. The matter of acquiring this rank will not be discussed until I have secured my position. For this method will fade when people flock to it.

Logbook

I am not a man of many words. But still I desire a position of leadership. Does a leader need to have his way with words? Perhaps politicians. But they are not leaders. Not in the way that I can respect. Information however, is important. Something politicians don't give. Something that leaders need to have. And something that the military needs just as much as anybody else. Perhaps then, this is why I decided to write logbooks. To save this information. Still, morale is important. Something I will leave to politicians. They cry war, and I will follow.
