Things gone awry this lasts days, can't jump all the often I wanted, taking some heat damage in the way, and the FSD is withstanding more tension than I thought with all those neutron jumping, maybe I have to take things slow so I can make it in the long run.

Aaaww... I also keep scanning new systems and that is making me even slower, but I can't let pass all those unknown systems go alone... leaving my mark in the stars...

Well, I suppose that the time of letting things pass and heading forward will come.

Well, things gone slow this week, the second waypoint was met, but DW2 expedition is spreading, everyone goes on his own as the ships have different jump capabilities and pilots different interests, guys exploring here and there, so now you are more on your own.

Currently trying to reach waypoint 3 I decided to stop at Sacaqawea Space Port and having some trouble in the way so couldn't jump all that I liked, but well, I'm crawling but meeting goals, this week I broke my mark of being over 9200 Ly from Sol, and I hope that this mark will top on the highest mark of reaching Beagle Point.

On the bad side I had to pass "Collection of Wonders" system, and see a the famous 3 ringed stars, but well, I saved the mark for other trip, like that old song said "If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere", so reaching Beagle Point should make me look any trip small compared to this one.

Well, loneliness is taking his grip on me, but I was prepared for that, hoping to reach waypoint 3 on time and head next mark.

Reached Omega Sector VE-Q b5-15 a few days ago, pretty mucha activity around this otherwise lonely station, there's a lot of work to do for miners and for guys like me protecting them, it's been nice being far from the bubble with other people and common goal, maybe this has been a good idea after all.

Let's see how things go from here, we are just in the beginning.

Yesterday was the Distant Worlds 2 start date, a bit clunky with all these guys around, and griefers were there and doing his stuff, well, I could jump a few systems ahead before going in trouble with ship's computer.

Today all systems are up and running, I'm heading to the first suggested waypoint, Shapley 1:

I decided to end/start the year heading to the rift, probably won't find anything, but... what the hell

I have a colleague around there making theories and discoveries, let's see if I can join and help him scanning the dark.

A guy named Palin contacted me as I set foot on Obsidian Orbital, at Maia system, a job about some alien object called "Thargoid Resin".

The pay is good, but someone said I had to reinforce my cargo for corrosion, those items seem serious shit.

Hell, I have no time to refit, I'm going to try out on plain cargo.

Has been a long time since I wrote my last words on the log, it has been a rough year in the bubble, now I have to work around here and my exploration rarely drives me beyond Maia or Pleiades, Thargoids are the new Fridays and its dangerous out there, the Viper MKIV is doing a good job on facing enemies.

But maybe, someday, my ASP Explorer would head the endless night again, just waiting to the spark that fires on me the need of exploration.

When I was about 3000 Ly out of the bubble something important come up that is making me return.

As soon as I can I would be back into the black, has been a short and fun exploring time.

After sometime off the exploration race to earn some credits and re-fit the ship, now I have the firm purpouse of going further than the last time, hoping to find something in all this black inmensity.

Have I some destination in mind? Well yes... but I'm not writing about it until I'm near, Im not sure if I can trace a route to the place I want to visit or if my urge to return to the bubble could be stronger as time passes.
