As I return to the Bubble after a trip almost halfway to Sag A, followed by a detour to a “nearby” nebula, I decided it’s time to start a log of my adventures. My current situation is that I’m 2.2K light years from my destination, with almost 500 separate systems logged and mapped in my ship computer. The Inverted Star has proved an able exploration ship, as well as a comfortable home, and has weathered months of travel remaining intact, despite a few crashes into some unwary stars and planets. The so-called "neutron highway" has greatly sped up the return trip, turning a weeks-long trek into a days long sprint back. I expect to be back in the bubble in less than 24 hours, and carrying valuable knowledge of the cosmos that's worth selling. I'm thinking I should contact my good friends at the Sidewinder Syndicate and see if they have any buyers.
